Julia Jardim is a film wedding photographer in London, specialising in authentic, unique wedding celebrations of all shapes and sizes - from civil ceremonies in London's grand town halls to intimate celebrations inside the Dulwich Picture Gallery or a colourful garden party in Richmond's manor - Julia has done it all. Julia's photographs are spontaneous, candid and authentic - rain or shine, always on film. Her artistic approach could be called photojournalistic or documentary, but is is also very uniquely hers. Julia focuses on creating images that are honest, unique, interesting to look at, and true to the story they're telling - and, most importantly, images that are able to stand the test of time without ever losing their beauty and relevance.

Julia photographs weddings in London exclusively on 35mm and medium format film and has been doing so for many years. Most of her couples are already familiar with film as a medium and want that timeless, nostalgic, authentic quality in their wedding images, but other couples first choose Julia for her London weddings because of her spontaneous, effortless, candid photographic style.

London is vibrant, diverse and alive. It is also surprisingly green and has a soft light that I particularly love - all photographs I have ever taken in London have a distinct “London” shine and palette that make me miss the city instantly when I look at them. Of course other destinations can offer a higher chance of sunshine, but I have never documented a London wedding where the lack of sun was felt like an issue. On the contrary, all the weddings I have photographed in London felt vibrant, colourful, cheerful, bold and uniquely special.
