A Marriage

“A Marriage” is a project I’ve been working on for many years now, and I truly hope it’ll go on for as long as I live. I think about it most often when I get home after photographing a wedding. I just feel very lucky that I get to experience what comes after the party - through all the commitment, companionship, hardship, grief, joy, love, and solitude that comes from sharing your life with the person you love.

Real life, love and memory have always been the subjects that I felt most connected to - the ones that drew me to photography in the first place, and domestic life is a great space to find all three of these subjects constantly intertwined.
