An intimate wedding in a London museum, photographed on film

Intimate weddings always feel like a surprise to me. Because I only open my bookings for them twice a year and also because of their spontaneous nature, they are sometimes booked just a few months in advance, when I think I have already figured out what my schedule for the year will look like. So these weddings feel like the cherry on top.

And that's what they are, really: the tiniest, sweetest, most delicate of celebrations, a collective hug just big enough to fit all the people closest and dearest to the couple. With less people and less logistics involved, there's just so much space left for laughter and intimate connection. And while my Latin American soul absolutely loves a big party, I find the quiet ways of an intimate wedding really genuine and special.
